Taking part into the |
Sunday the 2e of September we start our journey by car to Girona in Spain, loaded with my electric wheelchair and our two black labradors!
In Girona was been organised the 8e IMCA & 6e PAWC and I had inscribed with my two dogs, Quita could take part into the Veteran-classe and Joep could show his antics on the large-classe.

|
Also for the
Netherlands took part into the PAWC Elvera Avenhuis-Jansen with her collie Manchu.
And Patricia Fuchs
with her border collie Kylona, for them the first time taking part
into a Worldchampionship for handlers with a disability.

Quita's last jump before
the finish, going to an 1e place!
For Quita the first time she took
part into the Veteran-classe. Because we have only 3 large dogs who
runs Veteran-classe, we have decided to run all the medium-courses, included the
A-frame and
tyre ( normaly they remove them out the courses).
On the 1e and 2e agility-courses Quita obtained a first place, on the jumping she make some faults, and didn't became a prize, but it was enough for her to became champion of the Total Results.

Joep on the 1e agility-course,
going to an 2e place!
Joep is very enthousiast and
make sometimes faults like not touch the contacts or jump off some bars. But I
was satisfied about his runs, notwithstanding he misted the right gate of the
tube tunnel on his last agility-course, so disqualification......now he had losted his
prize by the Total Results!
But he went home with an 2e prize on the first agility-courses!
I can see he's growing into the agility..he will become the end this year three
years old..so enough future for him with agility!

Normaly we take part into agility matches for valid handlers, that will never give any prizes, but here on the PAWC, agility for handlers with a disability, we all have a limitation and the competition is for all the same!

When we arrived at home it was
fantastic!
The hole street and our house was decorated...our family and all neighbours are
on the street..that was very heart-warming!
I'm very proud of my two "big ones "!
