Demonstration servicedog

29 March  2009 on Basicschool De Biezen, Hoogland

Julia in action

Julia van Wee had given a lecture about guide-dogs, one of the kind of servicedogs for people with a disability.
Julia is in group 6 of basicschool " De Biezen" in the town I live, Hoogland.

She had prepared very good and had given a very clear explanation about how dogs can be used and which breeds a very able to be trained as servicedog!

The children of her group  had  listen very  attentive from the start untill the end of Julia's very enthusiastic lecture.

After Julia's explain there was a little question-time for the school-fellows of her group.
At the end all school-fellows give a mark for Julia's lecture, also the teacher.....a big 9..Congratulations!!

Julia had asked me to visit the school and give some demonstration  servicedog as someone using electric wheelchair.

Both my dogs, Quita and Joep, had showed in what way they can give help to me the hole day...the children were very surprised and of course again a lot of questions.

All together a succesfull lecture with information about servicedogs.
